Lean Consulting Solutions was started with a mission to make manufacturing better by advancing Lean thinking and practice. 

It was founded in 2023 by Phillip R. Green.  He has almost 2 decades in manufacturing, from the floor to management, union and non-union shops.  Phillip has worked in plants that have had Lean practices in place and plants that did not practice Lean. 

Phillip has said, when he worked as an operator, “If a plant was not practicing Lean, I implemented a procedure and demonstrated its value with improved production, quality or decreased waste.  But I learned a hard lesson, if there is no buy in, there is no interest.”

With degrees in business management and multiple certifications Lean Six Sigma, Phillip says that he has gain more experience and knowledge from training helpers, operators, leads and supervisors.  “Their view of the process is more valuable to the success of our endeavor than any lean tool I can teach.”
